Over 20 years ago we started from humble beginnings as two young kids by helping neighbors and family with their lawn mowing. Since then we’ve gained knowledge and experience by helping hundreds of clients and have mowed over 25,000 lawns.
Our clients depend on us to provide the service they can’t get anywhere else. We are the company people depend on to provides the detailed service that many homeowners desire. We bring our old-fashioned upbringing, fueled by our desire to provide perfection, to your lawn care needs.
Our foundation has always been to provide a service that people desire. Our clients have become friends, our employees are like family, and our lives have been enriched because of that.

Our Team
Bryant Pickering started as Pick’s Mowing with printed business cards and door flyers when he was 11 years old. Since then, we have been registered with the state of Iowa for over 15 years. Bryant has always had a business owner mentality, and even at a young age, his parents always encouraged and supported him. Today Bryant is married with five kids, and often has one or two of them in his truck for bids or errands.
Non-work enjoyments:
Outdoor activities such as hiking and camping. Playing cards and boardgames. Health and being active.
Local involvement:
Church is very important to Bryant. He is a leader in Trail Life with his oldest two boys. He is also a licensed Realtor in Iowa where he works with his dad on residential sales.
